Dr. Steven Krishblum: Within Spinal Cord research we have two realms. One is the basic sciences and the other is allowing patients to improve their quality of life. And I think the iBOT® really is the forerunner of the quality of life type of issues. |

Dr. Steven Krishblum: It’s allowed the understanding of both clinicians and professionals dealing with the disabled community as well as the consumer of understanding that what capability and mobility these people can have even with their deficits. The professional community needs to do more work proving the iBOT® improves quality of life, improves accessibility, improves vocational aptitude and improves the ability to be involved in family activities. |
