In this function, the iBOT® Mobility System slides comfortably under most tables and desks letting you get to work or enjoy a meal with minimal hassle.
However, unlike typical wheelchairs, when you're traveling in your iBOT® Mobility System and encounter what some consider an obstacle, the iBOT® Mobility System lets you easily switch out of Standard Function and into whichever function is necessary to overcome the challenge.
You can approach challenging surfaces such as thick carpet or doorsills with ease. Going up a curb? Transition to 4-Wheel Function. Want to greet someone at eye level? Transition to Balance Function.
