The INDEPENDENCE® iBOT® 4000 Mobility system is unlike any wheelchair available today. The process for purchasing the iBOT® Mobility System can be considered just as unique. Available only through Independence Technology, L.L.C., our sales process provides you with exceptional customer support and input from trained healthcare professionals. We ensure that the iBOT® Mobility System is right for you and help you make the most of its revolutionary all-in-one functionality.

The first step to owning an iBOT® Mobility System is to contact our Customer Zone.  They will answer any initial questions you may have as well as guide you through the iBOT® Mobility System sales process as outlined below:
   
1. Prequalification & Test Drive

To get you started in the process, a representative from our Customer Zone will ask you a series of questions, to determine whether the iBOT® Mobility System is right for you and that you meet the basic user requirements. If it looks like the product may be a good fit for you, a Customer Zone representative will work with you to schedule a time for you to experience the capabilities that could change your life.

iBOT® Mobility System test drives are available in certain locations throughout the country on a regular basis.  At an iBOT® Mobility System test drive, you will have the opportunity to use an iBOT® Mobility System with a trained Independence Technology, L.L.C. Product Consultant and experience the various benefits of the product.
 
2. Assessment

After the test drive, an assessment must be performed by an authorized clinician at an iBOT® Mobility System Evaluation Center. The clinician will verify that you meet the necessary prequalification requirements, and evaluate your physical, cognitive and perceptual skills to operate the product safely and effectively. Because the iBOT® Mobility System allows you to climb stairs on your own or with an assistant, we recommend you have an assistant present during this evaluation.

3. Delivery Training

In order to accept delivery of the product you must complete delivery training and successfully complete the Driver's Test. The delivery training and Driver's Test will occur at an iBOT® Mobility System Evaluation Center and the training will provide you with additional instruction on how to use the functions of the iBOT® Mobility System safely and effectively. The Driver's Test will be administered upon completion of training. It is recommended that you have an assistant present for assisted stair training.
 
Note: The amount of time needed to complete the Delivery Training will be dependent on your individual learning curve.
