Bob Utter Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Sherman, TX has been in our family since my grandfather started it in 1956 and I've worked there part-time as long as I can remember. But it's been a whole new experience since I got the iBOT® Mobility System in late 2006. Before then, I used manual wheelchairs to get around the car lot. I never realized how difficult it was to get around - or to really connect with my customers.
 

The iBOT® has changed all that. Now I have the same advantages as every other salesman. When I am in Balance Function, I can talk to my

customers face-to-face. And from a practicality standpoint, I can also see all the stock numbers on our vehicles. On a lot of the cars - especially on the larger SUVs and trucks - you can't see those stock numbers if you're in a seated position. Now that I'm in the iBOT®, I don't need my co-workers to help. I can just raise myself up into Balance Function to see the sticker and stock number.

 

Everyone I met in Sherman is really impressed with my iBOT®. I get questions all of the time about how I make it balance. Sometimes my customers are so fascinated by my iBOT® I think they may forget about buying the car I am trying to sell them!
