Since I received my iBOT® 4000, my life has changed drastically. Simply put, my use of the iBOT® has helped me to regain the active lifestyle that I enjoyed prior to having MS. As a field scheduler and registrar for sports in my town of Lincolnshire – a suburb of Chicago – I spend a lot of time outdoors. The iBOT® 4000’s 4-Wheel-Function enables me to travel on baseball and soccer fields, instead of watching games from the parking lot like in the past.

The iBOT® 4000 has also helped me to improve my fundraising initiatives with the Myelin Repair Foundation. This organization works to develop rational drug targets to slow, stop and ultimately repair damage to myelin caused by MS. Now that I have an iBOT®, I can easily get inside donor’s houses. In the past, I either didn’t go to fundraising functions or it was a logistical nightmare. Last year, one donor had 10 steps into their house and it took three guys to carry me inside. Now, I go to people’s houses that I haven’t been in 10 years.

I would recommend the iBOT® 4000 to any person with a disability who is looking to regain their active lifestyle. It has opened up avenues that haven’t been open to me in 15 years.
