I love the freedom the iBOT® has given me. I use it almost every day. It takes me everywhere in town that I need to go. If someone invites me out, my answer is always yes. Before, I had to give some serious thought to whether attending an event was worth the trouble.
There were many other advantages that the iBOT® had waiting for me. For example, some people just didn’t know how to talk to me when I was in a regular wheelchair. Looking up at everyone was a real pain in the neck, literally. The moment I started using the balance mode of the iBOT® everything changed. I simply rise to the occasion. In fact, if someone is a nuisance, I simply rise above them and bring them down to size.
I feel that the iBOT® is a really fantastic tool for making life easier and more livable. And it is such fun! By using the 4-Wheel Function, I spent an entire day at the country fair where I absolutely breezed through the fields and over the grass with no problem. This is something I could never imagine doing before. Do you know that thanks to the maneuverability of the Balance mode I can even go dancing? It is an absolute joy! I just love the way in which the iBOT® slightly floats when you are in the Balance mode. It is really comforting to know that the iBOT® computer brain is always working to anticipate my needs. It meets them in the most amazing ways, from climbing stairs to helping me reach for objects off of high shelves, to balancing me as if I were standing.
