the iBOT® would have for me and under the watchful eye of my mother, my friends and family organized a concert to raise money for me to purchase the iBOT®. It was amazing. The turnout surpassed all of our expectations.

When I first got the iBOT®, I immediately went to see my grandparents and uncles who were able to hug me while they were standing up, thanks to the Balance mode of my iBOT®. I love the hugging thing. At school, my classmates were all amazed and asked a million questions. My school is very old and not accessible. There are no elevators at all. The chemistry lab is located on a higher floor, so with the stairs involved, I could not go to the lab. Now, for the first time, I can attend it. The two things I like the best is that now I can give presentations in class while in Balance mode. It puts me at eye level with my teachers. The other cool thing is that in iBOT®, I am able to reach my locker, which is such a relief.

I love music and I often go to concerts of cool local bands, where now I can stand in the back row while in Balance mode and still have a great view. I do not have to be in the front row anymore, blocking the view of others. With the iBOT® I can tool around my high school, visit family, friends, and interact with other students at eye level. I feel like I finally fit in — I blend with the crowd.”
